Models - accounting year

report123 is based on Models. The active model determines the period you’re working in.

Click on the model name in the top left corner to see a list of all the models.

Models can be described as versions. Not versions of the accounting data - there is only one version of those and you get that from e-conomic - but different versions of the setup.

How to create a model

Click on the icon for Models just above the page title.

You will now see a list of all the models in the system. 

When you want to begin a new accounting year, you click on  [+ Create model] and enter the name and period. Usually, the period will be equal to your accounting year (i.e. 12 months), but you can also make models that are up to 5 years long (60 months).

You can create and delete as many models as you like. You’ll never lose any data. When you delete somethin it is only the setup for that specific Model that is deleted, not the data itself.

How to delete a model

To delete a model you must activate a different model, click on [Delete] and then enter the model name in the pop-up window. You can't delete the model you're working in.
