Dimensions

If you are working with Dimensions in e-conomic, you can select the dimension value directly on the Dashboard. You will find the drop-down list just to the right of the orange button [Create chart].

You can also choose to tie the content of each individual dashboard line to a dimension or to a combination of dimensions.

By tying a dashboard line to one or more dimensions you can quickly make comparisons and calculations.

For example, you can present your departments' respective turnovers in separate lines, while the costs appear as a sum for the entire company. Alternatively, you can calculate a department's share of the turnover in the dashboard line and then use it to divide costs between departments.

Dashboard lines that are not tied to a dimension will automatically follow the choice you made in the dimension value selector at the top of the page.
